Lesley Ike L.Ac. AP3395Lesley attended the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. She decided to become an acupuncturist because she felt she was called to the profession. Lesley believes that acupuncture enhances people’s lives mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually. Being able to work with a team in a community environment is what made her decide to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team. The diversity of cultures is what Lesley loves most about Aventura.
Sebastian Fey, DAOM, LAcDoctor Sebastian loves both the simple and profound effects acupuncture and Chinese medicine achieve, whether on our physical form and function or our energetic realms. He also enjoys resolving health issues that patients were not even aware of that acupuncture could successfully treat - if you’ve ever wondered, just ask!
After graduating from the Wharton School and working in finance, Sebastian eventually realized he could bring his analytical acumen and lifelong passion for health and healing to helping others by practicing integrative medicine. Upon earning his master’s in Classical Chinese Medicine, he opened and ran his practice in San Francisco for ten years, before moving with his wife back to sunny South Florida.
While there, Sebastian also completed his advanced clinical, research, and academic doctorate from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California, with an emphasis on orthopedic acupuncture and classical Chinese herbalism. And having lived in four countries, he now relishes the international flair his patients in Aventura embody and share in clinic every day
