Tiffany Avery L.Ac., MSAc, MSOM, DACM #1090Tiffany Avery L.Ac., MSAc, MSOM, DACM #1090

Dr. Avery is the Clinical Director of Arcadia and 16th Street/Camelback. She is a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM and is a graduate of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DACM) and Phoenix Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAc, MSOM). She was inspired to become an acupuncturist after it helped her recover from an ATV accident as a child. The thing she loves most about Acupuncture is that it is an extremely effective, non-invasive and affordable treatment modality. She joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she liked how it makes Acupuncture accessible to more people and encourages them to make it part of their preventative routine. When she isn’t working, Dr. Avery coaches little league and youth volleyball.  She also enjoys snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, bow-hunting, hiking and gardening.

Nathan White, L.Ac. #1115Nathan White, L.Ac. #1115

Nathan is a graduate of Five Branches University. He decided to become an acupuncturist to learn more about the body’s amazing healing capabilities and use that knowledge to help others. What he loves most about being an acupuncturist is delivering health without the side effects of pharmaceuticals. He chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team in Phoenix because he liked that the model helped reach a broad base of the population with programs designed to improve the health of everyone. When he’s not treating patients, Nathan enjoys hiking, being in nature and practicing qigong.

What Amie loves most about being an acupuncturist is seeing her patients find pain relief, helping them feel better physically and mentally, and being able to witness the body’s amazing innate ability to heal. She feels incredibly grateful to be able to help people live their best lives.

Amie chose to be a part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she wanted to be a part of an extraordinary team that is committed to making the benefits of acupuncture accessible, convenient, and that provides a great experience overall.

She decided to become an acupuncturist because she wanted to learn a modality that works hand in hand with the medical community to provide the absolute best care for her patients. Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is interacting with people that need help with their everyday lives.

She wanted to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she is true believer in the community-style acupuncture model. She likes the affordability and the fact that it enables people to get the number of treatments they need to get results.

Outside of work, Elizabeth’s interests include tennis, golf and horses.

Laura Ellis, L.Ac. #010045Laura Ellis, L.Ac. #010045

Laura is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, AZ. She completed additional training at Chengdu University of Traditional Medicine in Chengdu, China. She decided to become an acupuncturist after seeing the healing benefits of acupuncture on her niece who had severe migraines with visual disturbances.  She went from having migraines 3-5 times a week, to having them once or twice a year.

What Laura likes most about acupuncture is treating chronic pain without opioids, addressing the health and wellness of her patients, and helping the body to heal itself naturally.

Laura chose Modern Acupuncture because it has convenient locations, the setting is serene, and the price point allows for greater accessibility to frequent acupuncture treatment.

When she isn’t treating patients, Laura enjoys serving at her church, exercising, and reading.
