Connie Jo is a graduate of Yo San University in Los Angeles, CA. She decided to become an acupuncturist because she found that allopathic medicine was not enough to help a person heal. Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is seeing her patient’s smile when they finally find relief from life dis-ease.
Connie Jo joined the Modern Acupuncture team on the recommendation of a friend and she wanted to be a part of bringing this medicine Into the 21st century.
When she isn’t treating patients, Connie Jo enjoys all outdoor activities Involving nature, music (singing), painting, and traveling.
RaeAnn is a graduate of the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Having worked in the medical field, she noticed a disconnect between the goals of the patient and that of the practitioner. Patients and family members wanted restoration of function and health, while the only options offered were medications and procedures. She found acupuncture to be a viable option in most cases. Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is that it is a modality that provides hope, and she gets to help facilitate the treatments.
RaeAnn joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she feels that it opens the door for more people to receive acupuncture and learn that it is effective for ailments they never knew could be treated.
When she isn’t treating patients, RaeAnn enjoys finding the deal of the day for anything, especially travel. She loves traveling to places that make her parents nervous, spending time with friends and family, and doing fun, outdoor activities with her dogs.
