April attended the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida. She decided to become an acupuncturist because she believed in the body’s innate ability to heal itself. She believed that overloading the system with medications often does more harm than good. April feels that being able to help people live their best lives is incredibly rewarding. Seeing people healing and feeling well, both physically and mentally, is what she loves the most about being an acupuncturist. Modern Acupuncture’s quick, accurate, and affordable treatments for patients is why April decided to become part of the team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, fishing, and reading.
Amanda attended the Colorado School of Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO. Her love and dedication to Chinese Medicine comes from her own healing experience. Acupuncture treatments went to the root cause of her imbalances and she no longer uses conventional medicines that had adverse effects on her daily life. Amanda’s mindset and wellbeing have been transformed and she has chosen to devote her life to being a partner in bringing restorative health to you. The thing Amanda loves most about being an acupuncturist is the deep satisfaction to restore a healthy balance in her patient’s everyday life. She decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she was impressed with the commitment to patient care and evidence based progressive treatments. The caring staff and state of the art facilities were very influential in her decision as well. Outside of work, Amanda loves nature and the outdoors. She is outside soaking up what Colorado has to offer every chance she gets. When the weather keeps me indoors she enjoys formulating herbal remedies.

I am so lucky to have found this place! I have been dealing with neuropathy in my feet and toes, due to daily chemo treatments. The Acupuncturists ( April and Amanda, recently) I have seen here have always been so wonderful and knowledgeable. They have helped me a Great deal with pain management. I was also blessed with winning paid sessions for a year, by simply signing up for a raffle at one of their many open houses. There is little or no pain from the treatments mostly because of the experience of the acupuncturists. Just had to express my gratitude to Modern Acupuncture for all the time and help they have given me, as well as as my wife!
