Diana attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. When asked why she decided to become an acupuncturist, Diana says that she often feels that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine chose her rather than the other way around. As a cancer survivor, she is fascinated by the body’s natural healing ability. Being an acupuncturist has positively impacted Diana’s perspective as to how she sees the world in general as well as her role in it. That, as well as it’s vastness and utilization is what she loves most about being an acupuncturist. She decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because MA has developed a model that allows for acupuncture to be enjoyed in a culture where we don’t always take the time out for selfcare. Outside of work, Diana enjoys yoga, Vedic Astrology, painting, sketching, writing, and film.
Chanah attended the Tri-State college of Acupuncture. She first received acupuncture when she was 7 from her aunt. She always loved how relaxed it made her feel and has been receiving acupuncture regularly since. Chanah wanted to become an acupuncturist as far back as she can remember because of how it has helped her, and she wanted to share that with others. Chanah chose to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team in order to bring its method of treatment to as many people as possible. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, playing foosball, cooking, baking, gardening, and traveling.
