Shahla is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture. Her own experience with acupuncture treatment made her want to help others with Chinese medicine. Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is relieving people’s pain and discomfort and being an emotional support for them.
Shahla joined the Modern Acupuncture team to be part of a group of people coming together for the same purpose of helping others.
When she isn’t treating patients, Shahla enjoys watching movies and taking walks.

honestly, very relaxed. it was not as scary as i thought. it was so painless. the energy in there was so therapeutic. from the music, to the lighting, to the massage chair. it was great, i would recommend everyone to get treatments. 10/10!
I absolutely love it here! From the ladies at the front desk, to the complementary tea, all the way down to the acupuncture treatment itself. Everything is so relaxing and "zen." I always leave feeling better, than when I walked in.
Modern Acupuncture Garden City was amazing! The reception team was really informed and made me fell comfortable quickly. The atmosphere is so relaxing...my acupuncturist Justin was so patient and caring. I have experienced shin splints recently and basic aches and pains. I felt much better a day or two after my 1st treatment. I am looking forward to my next visits!
