Meet Our Acupuncturists, L.Ac.

Maddie Wadsworth L.Ac. TLMaddie Wadsworth L.Ac. TL

Maddie is a graduate of Texas Health and Sciences University.  She originally started college as a biology pre-med major with the goal of becoming an M.D. because she wanted to be able to help people. Throughout the course of her studies she worked at various medical practices and became concerned about the side effects of the pharmaceuticals being prescribed to patients. She discovered Chinese medicine and fulfilled her desire to help people, but without side effects.  She is very happy that she decided to go that route!

Maddie's favorite part of being an acupuncturist is helping people feel better without invasive procedures or harmful side-effects.  Maddie has a particularly vivid memory of a patient she saw while she was in school who came in walking with a cane and left swinging the cane over her head in delight and relief.

Maddie chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she likes the vision of bringing acupuncture to as many people as possible.

Outside of work, Maddie enjoys meditation, yoga, walking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
