Nicole received her Masters of Acupuncture Science from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She did her first 2 years of school at Yo San University of TCM in Los Angeles before eventually moving to Phoenix. She decided to pursue acupuncture after a series of debilitating anxiety attacks for which doctors prescribed her medication to be on indefinitely. After discovering that acupuncture was really all she needed to manage her stress, she wanted to help others find non-pharmacologic solutions to their health and emotional ailments as well.
Nicole finds immense joy in helping others get relief from their pain whether it be physical or emotional. She was drawn to modern acupuncture for the support structure that doesn’t exist in a lot of the acupuncture industry. She enjoys working with a team of wonderful acupuncturists and reception, and loves working for a company that cares so much about it’s employees. In her free time she enjoys hiking, watching professional wrestling with her husband, and burying her nose in a book with her cats.
Klint attended acupuncture school at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine (PIHMA) in Phoenix, Arizona. He was introduced to Oriental Medicine early in life. After growing up and serving his country, he found himself back where he had begun, interested in the medicine. He says, “It’s the road I was put on to travel”. Giving patients their quality of life back and seeing them smile after their treatment is what Klint loves the most about being an acupuncturist.
He chose to become a part of the Modern Acupuncture team because he believes everyone deserves quality care in an affordable and accessible environment. Outside of work, Klint enjoys camping, fishing, reading Eastern Philosophies, and Muay Thai training.
Benjamin attended the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. He decided to become an acupuncturist because he felt the medicine came natural to him, and he saw the ancient African science that is within Chinese Medicine. Treating people from a point of view that deals with balancing the person physically, mentally, and spiritually as well as using ancient science is what Benjamin loves most about being an acupuncturist. He decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team to be able to treat and introduce acupuncture to more people. Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys working on cars, trail running/hiking, reading, watching documentaries, and healing and knowing himself.
Jose is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. He decided to become an acupuncturist because of a long-time connection to Eastern philosophy and the understanding of the natural harmony of nature. When this harmony is disrupted in the human body, pain, or disease occurs. He found that acupuncture and herbs are a very efficient way to gain balance within the body and alleviate several disorders and diseases. His favorite part of being an acupuncturist is seeing people who have been suffering from a condition for many years, finding relief through acupuncture.
Jose joined the Modern Acupuncture team because he believes it creates a positive environment where people can experience acupuncture for the first time. Modern Acupuncture provides affordable and effective treatments in a great space!
When he’s not treating patients, working on his research projects or studying Chinese herbs, Jose enjoys kicking it while playing soccer, finding local areas for cliff jumping, swimming and other activities with his family. He also makes it a point to take the time to practice Qigong and moving meditation.
