Corry received his Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR. He is currently enrolled as a Doctoral candidate at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. Corry was first introduced to acupuncture by a friend that had been diagnosed with medical conditions that had very few treatment options. She began to receive acupuncture and her symptoms improved. Corry was astounded by her results and decided to investigate the medicine more fully. He then realized that he wanted to become an acupuncturist himself, and not only make people feel better but help them to be better. The thing he loves the most about being an acupuncturist is seeing a patient walk out of the clinic in less pain and suffering than when they walked in, and seeing their health and life improve with each follow up visit.
The desire to give more people access to affordable, effective healthcare is why Corry decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team.
Outside of work, he enjoys being active in his local church, hiking and running, being in nature with his family, trying new foods, and reading and playing board games.
Traci is a graduate of the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, in Glenside, PA. She found acupuncture after receiving treatment for chronic back pain from an auto accident. It helped her tremendously. She had always been into spiritual and holistic health and thought the profession would be a good fit. She is also a veteran and decided to use her GI Bill to go into the acupuncture field. She is so grateful that she did!
Traci’s favorite part of being an acupuncturist is having the opportunity to talk to people and hear their stories. She loves assisting them in any aspect of their lives that need help. Her own experience with chronic pain drives her to help those who are suffering. She loves to help lower her patient's pain levels and increase their level of functionality.
Traci joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she likes how it allows acupuncturists to treat many people. She also likes how the methods used in the clinic are organized into one efficient model, enabling acupuncturists to focus on treating members and give them the best chance at healing.
When she isn’t treating patients, she loves spending time with her three children. Together, they love to hike outdoors and travel as often as possible. As a military family they have seen the whole country but St. Louis is home, and they always seem to find new things to do in this great city. They also have two miniature dachshund dogs that they dote on.
Erik is a graduate of Logan University and also studied at the Institute of Classical Five Element Acupuncture. He has always loved Chinese culture. He was taught by a family who owned a local restaurant to speak, read, and write Chinese. After having a patient who wasn’t getting better with other treatments, Erik decided to learn acupuncture to add to his skill set and help more people get well. He loves the fact that with a few simple needles inserted into specific areas on the body, a profound change can occur. Over the past 15 years, he has seen many amazing transformations in thousands of patients.
Erik chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team to help as many people as he can. The structure of Modern Acupuncture allows more people to receive treatment affordably.
When he isn’t treating patients, Erik enjoys spending time with his family. He has been playing guitar for over 30 years and enjoys playing and listening to music. Erik has practiced Martial Arts for over 25 years. He also enjoys watching movies.
