Modern Acupuncture Licensed Acupuncturists Changing the Landscape of Health Care by Combining Ancient Acupuncture with Bio-Medicine

Acupuncture is an ancient medicine showing effective results for more than 2000 years. Over that time many styles and methods of acupuncture have been developed with the focus on helping patients heal and stay healthy long-term.

At Modern Acupuncture our incredible practitioners bring a passion for healing to every patient. Every Modern Acupuncturist has completed comprehensive training during three to four academic years of education at the master’s degree level in an acupuncture program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). This extensive training provides our Licensed Acupuncturists with the tools to assess patient conditions using traditional and modern diagnostic skills to determine the necessary treatment and strategy for the best results.

Modern Acupuncturists are highly skilled in selecting the appropriate acupuncture points to treat and adjusting their choice of points to the specific patient’s need during a treatment plan. Our Acupuncturists continue their training in the MA Methods, which combine effective ancient acupuncture techniques with modern bio-medicine understanding.

Many of our Acupuncturists have experienced the profound benefits of acupuncture therapy in their lives. Personal stories of acupuncture relieving severe knee pain, back surgeries, insomnia, digestive issues, headaches and more allows many of our Acupuncturists to teach and heal others with a level of compassion that is often lacking in the modern medical system. Intentionally listening to our patients and understanding their unique condition holistically is a pillar of the Modern Acupuncture experience.

“The holistic approach of acupuncture takes the entire person into consideration, understanding the details about their condition, history, and individual nature before prescribing treatment. This individualized health care practice enriches patients’ lives on all levels, especially those of health and joy.” – Marie, L.Ac. NCCAOM Dipl.OM,

I explain to my patients – the more you tell me about all your symptoms, the more precise I can be at targeting the source. I look at your symptoms as the branches of a tree, with all of those I can isolate the type of tree trunk and cut it off at the root. Once I do that – all your symptoms dissipate. - Dr. Tiffany Avery, DACM, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac.

The demand and usage of acupuncture in the US is on the rise. Pain, stress and mental health issues have been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic around the world. All age groups are seeking natural health options that can help them without negative side-effects.

Our team of Modern Acupuncturists are changing the landscape of health care and delivering acupuncture to more people than ever before.

Modern Acupuncturists. Together We Heal.

Modern Acupuncture® is a natural stress relief solution and the leading provider of acupuncture in the U.S. The most studied theories show that acupuncture stimulates the body to release naturally produced “feel good” endorphins and stimulate the parasympathetic or “rest and digest” response in our body, alleviating symptoms associated with stress.
