Maria is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Maria decided to become an acupuncturist after working as a massage therapist inside an acupuncture clinic. She saw that patients were getting excellent results after only a few acupuncture treatments. Maria is also an AOBTA® Certified Practitioner, you can find her on AOBTA®’s “Find a Practitioner” website.
Her favorite part of being and acupuncturist is helping patients recover from physical traumas or difficult medical conditions. She also loves helping them improve their overall wellness. Maria chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard great things and wanted to learn more about how acupuncture is practiced in this setting. She had been on her own in practice since 2004 and wanted to be part of this company. When she isn’t working, Maria enjoys hiking, jogging and taking walks.

Great, friendly staff! Both acupuncturists are excellent. Their many years of experience is evident.
I absolutely love this Modern Acupuncture! Every single person there is so kind and professional. They all seems to have such kind souls. Mandy and Melissa the first faces you see are always pleasant with a ready smile. Ingine the Acupuncturist is very good she ask and analyze your needs, she's helped to relieve my pain and I certainly feel more relaxed, and sleep a lot better.
I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy 36 days ago and I was completely devastated emotionally and physically. I had never even thought about acupuncture and was afraid to ever try it. However, I was desperate to try anything to help. I called and spoke with Mandi and she was so sweet and reassuring. I think she could hear the sadness, fear, and doubt in my voice. She answered all of my questions and was patient with me. She convinced me to give it a try and she fit me in. I have been going 3 times a week ever since.I have to admit that was the best 30 minutes of rest I have ever had! I love Maria and Injin equally! Maria was very nurturing like a mom and Injin was attentive and caring. I was terrified my first time and Injin saw that. She explained everything and asked about other issues I was concerned about. My Bell's Palsy has improved so much since coming to Modern Acupuncture. I still have some recovery time to go, but I can definitely see a big change since I started. They have made a believer out of me and I will be a lifelong customer!
Had an amazing experience at Modern Acupuncture! The Mandi was incredibly welcoming and professional, and the facilities were clean, calming, and inviting. Injin was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns before creating a personalized treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. I appreciated how they explained everything to me before starting the treatment, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. During the treatment, I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxing it was - I actually dozed off! Afterward, I felt energized and rejuvenated. I can't wait to go back for my next session. Highly recommend Modern Acupuncture to anyone looking for a holistic and effective way to improve their overall health and wellness!
