Maria is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Maria decided to become an acupuncturist after working as a massage therapist inside an acupuncture clinic. She saw that patients were getting excellent results after only a few acupuncture treatments. Maria is also an AOBTA® Certified Practitioner, you can find her on AOBTA®’s “Find a Practitioner” website.

Her favorite part of being and acupuncturist is helping patients recover from physical traumas or difficult medical conditions. She also loves helping them improve their overall wellness. Maria chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard great things and wanted to learn more about how acupuncture is practiced in this setting. She had been on her own in practice since 2004 and wanted to be part of this company. When she isn’t working, Maria enjoys hiking, jogging and taking walks.

I’m so happy that I took the chance to find out more by experiencing what acupuncture can do. Besides knowing it has something to do with needles, I had zero experience or understanding about its benefits. The staff is very patient with my millions of questions and I truly appreciated that kind of customer service. The experience has already cleared up my headache and neck pain. I can’t believe that I’m saying that after 3 sessions. The acupuncturist is so gentle, even with my fear of needles. It’s a quick pinch and then the best relief afterwards. I’ll be going again and soon.

I have been going for cosmetic, allergies and anxiety and have been SO pleased! I am seeing collagen production in my face, and my allergy and anxiety levels are better! I drive from the tcu area and am hoping for a central Fort Worth location!! But until then the drive is worth it!
