Elizabeth attended the American College of Oriental Medicine in Houston TX for her Masters degree, and by the end of 2018 she will complete her Doctorate Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After working in a high-tech industry for many years, she started seeing an acupuncturist for various sports injuries, insomnia, and stress. She fell in love with acupuncture because it was so effective, so she wanted to study everything she could about Chinese Medicine. Elizabeth loves the healing effect of acupuncture and that is can treat so many ailments. She loves to treat sports injuries, pain syndromes, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues, and stress and anxiety. The effective, relaxing, and destressing experience Modern Acupuncture provides is why Elizabeth chose to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, taking nature hikes, cooking healthy foods, and practicing Qi Gong.

Kelly attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. She decided to become an acupuncturist to be challenged to learn a new science that would change the healthcare system in our future. Kelly wanted to be a part of the medical community that worked in preventative medicine. Being the tool that helps others heal from their ailments is what Kelly loves the most about being an acupuncturist. To see her patient’s conditions change instantly for the better is the most gratifying feeling for her. Kelly choose to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she believes in the concept of affordable healthcare that everyone has access to. She knows being part of this team, she can be part of the community and make a difference in people’s lives. Outside of work Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, scuba diving, running, crossfit, swimming, and being a USA swim official.

Nada is a graduate of the American College Of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from University of Houston, and feels that the acupuncture field has a lot of connection to the nutrition field.

She decided to become an acupuncturist because she likes to help people feel better physically and emotionally.  Her connection to acupuncture started as a patient when she had acupuncture treatments for migraines that worked very well. 

Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is when she has a patient who comes to her with pain, emotional stress, other issues and they leave saying “ I feel much better now”. She says it is very beautiful feeling to help people with their healing.  

She decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard many positive things from her friends. She says it is an excellent opportunity to work in great place with great people. She also feels that Modern Acupuncture will open the door for many people to try acupuncture and learn about its many benefits.  

When she’s not treating patients, Nada enjoys walking outside or in the park, especially when the weather is nice.  She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. When she has the time and resources she likes to travel and see different parts of the world.
