Dana is a graduate of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. Her path to becoming an acupuncturist began when she had the worst hip pain and nothing was helping. After two cortisone shots and little relief, she found acupuncture. After only four treatments she felt so much better. She also noticed that her menstrual pain was completely gone. She was amazed and hooked and wanted to learn as much as she could about the medicine and also how to help more women have pain-free cycles.
The thing Dana loves most about being an acupuncturist is watching people who have been in so much pain get back to enjoying their lives. She loves that she gets to help people feel relaxed and supported in this crazy world.
Dana joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she likes that the methods used in the clinics are science-based and that there is a team of people working together. She feels connected to the mission to get as many people as possible to experience acupuncture.
