Meet Our Acupuncturists, L.Ac.

Donna Green, MAOM, L.Ac. #308462Donna Green, MAOM, L.Ac. #308462

Donna was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. She attended graduate school in Houston where she earned her Master’s in Acupuncture Oriental Medicine.  After years of being a body work professional, specializing in Eastern theory, she decided to further her studies by attending acupuncture school.  Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is helping people to live life well.  Donna wanted to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she liked that we are making acupuncture more accessible and affordable.  When she’s not helping others live life well she enjoys reading, gardening and rescuing animals.

Melanie Landry M.D., L.Ac. #304910Melanie Landry M.D., L.Ac. #304910

Melanie is a graduate of Helms Medical Institute. As an M.D. She is aware of the potential for drug reactions and interactions that may adversely affect a patient. With acupuncture, many conditions can be treated without adding medication and risking potential interactions. Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is having the ability to help people decrease or eliminate pain when medications fail to produce results.

Melanie joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she likes the efficiency and effectiveness of the methods used in the clinics.

When she isn’t treating patients, Melanie enjoys rescuing animals, dancing and traveling.

Glenn M. Braud, Jr., L.Ac. #312357Glenn M. Braud, Jr., L.Ac. #312357

Glenn is a graduate of the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  As a kid, he was frequently ill and had consistently low energy. After receiving acupuncture he was sick less often and his energy felt more balanced from day to day. He also worked as a pharmacy technician for seven years and wanted to provide an alternative, hands-on approach to patients to address their health concerns. Acupuncture provided this approach. He loves that it is a comfortable, minimally invasive treatment option for a wide variety of conditions.

Glen joined the Modern Acupuncture team because he like the streamlined process that brings acupuncture to more people.

Outside of work, Glen enjoys cooking and trying new foods, bowling, martial arts, e-sports and reading medical research.

“Loved the atmosphere. I’m a college student which at times can be very stressful. I definitely felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Took the best power nap ever. I would recommend this for everyone!”

Their amazing staff was so informative and patient for our first visit. My fiancé and I went for a date and couple therapy and they put us facing each other as we experienced this new therapy. The zen den was a much needed relaxation environment filled with a silent tranquil setting. I left feeling very relaxed and my fiancé had a headache that subsided. We highly recommend. Thank you all for you sincere effort and loving care.

What can I say, awesome staff of people.. Michael Cooper is very knowledgable and hits the right points, and if you are in question as to the benefits.. just try a few sessions and you will see.. This is one of the best ways to heal naturally without the side effects of western medicine.
