After receiving acupuncture for her own health issues, Bianca Yturralde, DAOM, Ac, DOM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), recognized the power of Chinese medicine. This ignited her own journey to studying and becoming a doctor of Oriental Medicine. After six and a half years of study and clinical practice, Dr. Yturralde is excited to share with her patients the importance of self-care and balance. Most importantly, when given the right tools and support the body is capable of immense self-healing.
Dr. Yturralde is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Texas and holds a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the State of New Mexico. Dr. Yturralde is board certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Bianca holds a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College from Santa Fe, NM. In 2016 she earned an advanced degree of Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, in Santa Monica, California, specializing in Internal and Physical Medicine. The Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, or DAOM, is the highest degree bestowed in the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. While studying in the DAOM, Dr. Yturralde focused her studies on the topic of pain, emotional health and stress induced illnesses, including her capstone work in the treatment of depression with acupuncture.
She is a native New Mexican originally born in Carlsbad, New Mexico and has relocated to Texas. Dr. Yturralde is excited and honored to share her gifts and talents with the local community of Dallas and looks forward to getting involved in the community.
Daniel is a graduate of the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He decided to become an acupuncturist after being inspired by his own doctors who helped him restore his health. He also had a deep desire to help others improve their quality of life.
His favorite part of being an acupuncturist is being able to “hold space” for his patients, treating them as individuals and taking part in their healing process.
Daniel chose to be part of Modern Acupuncture because it enables him to focus on patient care rather than tending to the details of running a business.
When he’s not working, Daniel enjoys watching or playing sports. He has been an avid tennis player since his high school years.
Blake is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. After personally experiencing the amazing benefits of acupuncture she wanted to learn more. Her desire was to share the effective, yet often unknown and underutilized healing therapy with as many people as possible. Her favorite part of being and acupuncturist is being able to promote healing naturally and alleviate pain quickly, without the use of surgery or drugs.
She wanted to join Modern Acupuncture because she saw it as an innovative concept that is making the healing practice of acupuncture accessible to the masses. She feels that it will impact our health care system for the better, and accel the acupuncture profession. She feels honored to be a part of this pioneering and healing team
When she’s not working, Blake enjoys reading fiction books, socializing with friends, eating good food and seeking out new experiences.
