Brad went to school to become a Licensed Acupuncturist at Texas Health and Science University. He decided to take this path after learning that acupuncture along with exercise and meditation helped to keep his chronic back pain under control. The thing Brad loves the most about being an acupuncturist is after people have received their treatment and are amazed by how much better they feel. He loves the big smile they have on their face and that they thank him for helping them. Brad chose to become a part of the Modern Acupuncture team because he wanted to be a part of a company that educates the public about the benefits of acupuncture and how it can help them. He also wanted to be in an environment where he could gain even more experience and become a better practitioner.  Outside of work, Brad enjoys cooking for friends and family, hiking with his dog, playing the guitar, and practicing qi gong and tai chi.

David became a Licensed Acupuncturist at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine in Houston Texas. He decided to become an acupuncturist because he had a passion for Oriental Medicine and he wanted to help people have better lives. The satisfaction he gets from giving people good results and helping them live better and healthy lives is what David loves most about his profession. David decided to become a part of the Modern Acupuncture team because of its affordability and mission to make people’s lives better. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, photography and gardening.

Maria attended the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where she got her Master’s degree in 2012. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, and a Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council on Exercise. Maria has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for over five years in both private and community settings and has successfully helped patients dealing with physical and emotional ailments. She is very passionate about health and wellness, and loves to spread the word and motivate her patients to include healthy practices like diet, exercise, and mindfulness to improve their physical, mental and emotional health. She also works as a Regional Trainer for Modern Acupuncture in Texas supporting the teams in each clinic to deliver top quality care and the best customer experience with the ultimate goal to make your life better.

Nada is a graduate of the American College Of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from University of Houston, and feels that the acupuncture field has a lot of connection to the nutrition field.

She decided to become an acupuncturist because she likes to help people feel better physically and emotionally.  Her connection to acupuncture started as a patient when she had acupuncture treatments for migraines that worked very well. 

Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is when she has a patient who comes to her with pain, emotional stress, other issues and they leave saying “ I feel much better now”. She says it is very beautiful feeling to help people with their healing.  

She decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard many positive things from her friends. She says it is an excellent opportunity to work in great place with great people. She also feels that Modern Acupuncture will open the door for many people to try acupuncture and learn about its many benefits.  

When she’s not treating patients, Nada enjoys walking outside or in the park, especially when the weather is nice.  She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. When she has the time and resources she likes to travel and see different parts of the world.

Philip is a graduate of Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR.  He decided to become an acupuncturist because of his interest in Daoism. 

 

His favorite part of being an acupuncturist is unraveling complex cases and having his patients return with excellent results. He joined Modern Acupuncture to help people get the most out of acupuncture. 

 

In his free time, Philip enjoys martial arts, Weiqi, and meditation.

Sepideh attended South Baylo University in Ahaheim, California. Always fascinated with eastern medicine, when she became a medical doctor she wanted to pursue another aspect of Medicine. When she moved to the US, it gave her the opportunity to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Being able to help patients without having them take different types of medicines or going through invasive and unnecessary procedures is what Sepideh loves the most about being an acupuncturist. She believes acupuncture is a great way to get treated while avoiding side effects of medicine. In addition, seeing patients making progress in a short period of time is exhilarating for her. Sepideh decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because of the effective methods used and relaxing atmosphere. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, dancing, reading, cooking, and listening to music and watching movies.
