Henry is a graduate of Texas Health and Sciences University
His family inspired him to become an acupuncturist. Growing up in Vietnam and witnessing his mom successfully treat many family members and friends through alternative medicine led him to also follow this path of helping people find true healing. His favorite part of being an acupuncturist is seeing patients finally experience relief from their chronic illnesses or pain.
He wanted to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because he loves the Modern Acupuncture approach. It streamlines traditional acupuncture by focusing simply on distal points. It is easier on the patients, and he believes it is more effective for treating pain and illness.
When he’s not working, Henry loves playing sports, lifting weights, hiking and cliff jumping.
Meredith is a graduate of Texas Health and Science University in Austin, TX. She became an acupuncturist because growing up, she suffered from chronic headaches and skin issues. She relied on weekly allergy shots and multiple prescription medications to feel better. After college, she moved to South Korea for three years, and while there, she adopted a more balanced diet and lifestyle and also became acquainted with acupuncture and other holistic forms of healthcare. Through these lifestyle shifts, her overall health and energy levels improved dramatically — and her allergies even went away and have yet to return! She knew she needed to return to the States and share what she had learned, to help others find balance and feel better, too.
Her favorite part of being an acupuncturist is being able to play a part in helping others find physical and/or emotional relief, naturally and without the use of pharmaceuticals.
She decided to join the Modern Acupuncture team because she feels Eastern Medicine is needed more than ever in our high-stress, overly-medicated culture. She likes that Modern Acupuncture helps to bridge the divide between East and West and expose many more people to the incredible benefits of acupuncture
When she isn’t treating patients, Meredith loves reading, cooking (and eating!), practicing yoga, writing, hiking with my dogs, and running an online vintage clothing shop.
Sepideh attended South Baylo University in Ahaheim, California. Always fascinated with eastern medicine, when she became a medical doctor she wanted to pursue another aspect of Medicine. When she moved to the US, it gave her the opportunity to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Being able to help patients without having them take different types of medicines or going through invasive and unnecessary procedures is what Sepideh loves the most about being an acupuncturist. She believes acupuncture is a great way to get treated while avoiding side effects of medicine. In addition, seeing patients making progress in a short period of time is exhilarating for her. Sepideh decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because of the effective methods used and relaxing atmosphere. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, dancing, reading, cooking, and listening to music and watching movies.
Patti attended both the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine San Diego, CA, and AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, Austin, TX. Her first experience with acupuncture made her realize there was something beyond Western Medicine that could offer health benefits and options. She decided to learn more about it and become an acupuncturist with the intent of helping others realize options, opportunities for healing, and bridging Western and Eastern medicine. She loves hearing patients describe how they feel after a session, and how acupuncture has impacted their lives for the better, especially when all else had failed.
Having been a private practitioner for almost 20 years, Pattie was burned out and took a year-long sabbatical in Mexico. During that time, she realized that she truly is an acupuncturist, yet had no interest in opening a private clinic again. Modern Acupuncture allows her to provide acupuncture services to a large population, not only as an introduction to acupuncture, but a way to offer them ongoing treatment at reasonable costs, and continued encouragement, development, and achievement of their health goals.
When she isn’t treating patients, Patti enjoys biking, hiking, walking, and is an avid reader. She also creates unique one-of-a-kind jewelry called Wild Imaginations using cabochons and a paint pouring technique. She also enjoys ethnic foods, both cooking and eating out. Her two cats, Katy and Rocky, provide considerable entertainment for her as well.
Cunyu is a graduate of Texas Health and Science University. When she was in high school, she suffered from terrible allergies and digestive problems from the stress of her studies. The issues affected her ability to study and her enjoyment of everyday life. She tried many different therapies, but acupuncture was the only one that worked, and it came without any side effects. This inspired her to study acupuncture so she could help others heal. Cunyu’s favorite part of being an acupuncturist is helping many different people and the challenge of difficult cases. She feels great satisfaction when she can solve those problems.
Cunyu joined the Modern Acupuncture team because she feels it is time to combine ancient therapies with a modern approach. She is also excited to learn new acupuncture techniques.
When she isn’t treating patients, Cunyu enjoys watching movies and working out.

Purchased a Modern Accupunture membership last month for an ailing knee injury and I am feeling much better. Love the relaxing environment. Sepideh is great. She makes every effort to tend to all your aches and pains.
It is a great place to come and relax! They have massage chairs that recline and warm up while you receive your acupuncture treatment. I love coming here.
I came in for my Free consultation, although I was very sceptical. I wanted to try something diff for my Fibromyalgia Pain. Kelly was very helpful with the process. And David was very Gentle and nice. I have to say I went ahead and signed up for a package even being Skeptical but OMG! I slept so good that night. I will definitely recommend!!
