Meet Our Acupuncturists, L.Ac.

Cassandra Romo, MSOM, L.Ac. #01798Cassandra Romo, MSOM, L.Ac. #01798

Cassie is a graduate of the Texas Health and Science University.  She sought out a career in acupuncture after her father, who suffered from severe back pain, found relief through acupuncture. That left a huge impression on her and she knew it was the way to go!  One of her favorite things about being an acupuncturist is how happy and relaxed her patients look after treatment. She is excited to be a part of Modern Acupuncture because she likes that it makes treatments very convenient and accessible for many people

When she’s not working, Cassie enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, learning new things, going to museums or taking a roadtrip.

Nicole E. Finkelstein, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M., RH (AHG) #01694Nicole E. Finkelstein, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M., RH (AHG) #01694

Nicole went to school at AOMA Graduate College of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas. For as long as she can remember, she’s been interested in holistic medicine. It wasn’t until she moved to Austin and witnessed the healing power of acupuncture personally, and with friends & colleagues, that she pursued an education in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Everyday, Nicole sees “mini miracles” inspired by acupuncture. She is amazed to see how naturally tapping into the body’s self-healing ability can transform a person and condition.

As soon as Nicole heard about Modern Acupuncture her first thought was, “I want to be a part of that!”. She feels that acupuncture needs to reach as many people as possible, affordably, so our community can truly experience the benefits of the medicine. Additionally, it brings great like-minded acupuncturists together!

In her spare time, Nicole works as a photographer as well as a member of Austin’s organic gardening community (focusing on growing herbal medicine). Additionally, She is a visual artist and writer who enjoys long distance hiking and running. Much of her downtime is spent in East Austin with her husband, Corgi and Beagle pups!

Charlotte Keith, L.Ac. #01396Charlotte Keith, L.Ac. #01396

Charlotte attended the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX. Acupuncture successfully helped Charlotte with many health issues of her own, which inspired her to go to school to become an acupuncturist herself. The thing she loves the most about being an acupuncturist is helping people achieve a state of good health with a natural, and non-invasive method. The reason Charlotte chose to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team is that she is attracted to the open room setting, and believes it enhances the patients healing experience. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, meditation, reading, listening to music, singing, and seeing movies and having meals with friends and family.
